  • Erros - Implement Fines to Players for Stupid & Simple Handling Errors

All three games so far we have made some of the most stupidest and common errors that has put the team so far under pressure. It is our senior players that are making these errors, Daniel Tupou last night tired an offload which luckily paid off in which if he held onto the ball the Cowboys would have been penalised for lifting him off his feet into touch or the goal line. Then the next hit up drops is cold, it is a common occurrence with him, Cowboys score 12-0, then Jake Friend on the fourth tackle with less than a minute to go kicks the ball out on the full. From how the game was going Hastings was kicking alright and finding gaps..

We had the Cowboys on the back, 18-0 at halftime.

Moa, and Guerra dropping cleaning balls before any contact is made and yet led to 2 further tries....

I was pretty impressed with Mitchell, SKD, Aubusson, Napa and Evans with the way they started and continue only to have the senior group destroy it with errors. It was the same in the Canberra game and yet in patches in the Souths game.

I think Robbo should implement fining these blokes out of their pockets as it has been the stupid handling errors and silly offloads on our own line by our senior players that have leaked so many points in our games. 5 day turn around and to play all 3 games in more than 35 degree heat is a big and near impossible ask but we almost did it last night but yet again no respect for ball control.

Like to know what everyone else thinks? I mean we hit their pockets for their off field performances, I think they should look to hit their pockets for their on field performance especially in regards to Ball Control

All these kids can play and the squad is much better than their last three performances. I put it down to confidence. Losing like winning is contagious and at the moment we are in a J curve. Things tend to get worse before they get better. As for Mitchell, he has put on some serious bulk and looks a little top heavy for my liking. He is using power and bulk to get through the line rather than speed and power. I think he has put on approx 8 kilo since last season which will take him a while to adapt to his new frame. He doesn't look as agile or quick as he use to and at times he looks a little slow and clumsy.

Lashing them on Bondi Road may work better or make them stand on one leg, rub their belly and pat their head on the half way line.

He still has a boys body. Lots of puppy fat from a quick bulk designed to get him ready for first grade. It'll take 12 months+ to harden him up. He's looked most likely for us in both games so far.

lol that was your best ever post.

I guess Nathan does not have much experience managing people. Could you imagine how the playing group would react to being treated that way?

Also, how could anyone be impressed with Evans or Napa yesterday? They both got bashed and made a lot of errors.

                            I've got a better idea.

Why doesn't Trent give each player a sticker chart and when they do something good they get a sticker to add to it and if they do something bad they get one taken away.

When they get to 25 stickers they get to choose a treat like a lollipop.

Work's for my 4 year old, she never drops anything!
