I have read here people questioning the attitude and questioning the commitment of the team last night and this is the scary part. For the most of it I actually thought the players were committed in defence and tried there hardest throughout the match (There were 1 or two efforts i thought were pis poor Dylan Napas lack of effort on Taumololo near the line where quite frankly he dogged a full on collission with Taumololo was one) Had they not been committed in defence that scoreline would have been closer to seventy to zero and that my friends is the scary part There is only so long these floggings can go on before the teams commitment drops and when it does with the team we currently have I see a 60 or even 70 point flogging coming our way.

Why do people equate attitude to skill? We have 6 major players from last year missing. This will never be a competitive team with the players that have played in the first 2 rounds. I think they all tried their best as a team but weren't, and will never be good enough.

Now that henderson is gone, i believe nikorema needs to go back to the bench and we bring another 5/8 up - Maybe Cornish. Nikorema is a genuine weakness at 5/8 right now , particularly our right side defence but could really bring spark iff the bench. I would also bring elliott up for Copley at least he has experience in our defensive line. Finallyi would drop toupou Nd bring burgess up
Other than that all of our players need to start going to church because divine intervention is required.

Regardles of personnel changes I have never seen so many forwards jersey grabbing instead of tackling properly in 3 games straight.....when the forwards nuckle down the team will go better
Looks like next game we play Manly into form. Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the universe

Here's a situation that some here may care to explain to me. I want to know what we are doing at training during the week that leads to the following scenario...

Easy answer We were gettig dragged in because it was taking 3 or 4 players to put down there boys in the middle I knew that try was coming as we had too many players in the middle stopping them from scoring through the middleWhen you trust your television

I posted before last nights game that our D was a shambles, and, that it should be the focus of our training week.
The best coach i ever had was a carnt. Some training sessions went for almost 4 hours. Boring defensive drills in the rain finishing at 10pm in the middle of winter. Eventually we got it and every other aspect of the game became easier and more enjoyable.
