Roosters board meeting today threatening to move 4 games to central coast

Ive followed the chooks since I was under 10 back in the early 70s. I picked them cause I liked the colours and have stuck solid ever since.

Living in the south west of sydney back then I didnt know what or where the Eastern Suburbs was and nor did I care. The red white and blue were my team. Life is simple whe youre a kid.

Does that make me a bandwagoner?

Nowday I live in the western suburbs and go to all home games. Am happy to have more Gosford games. Quicker and easier for me than Bondi.

All of us have our own story as to why we follow league and the chooks. As my parents were german immigrants I probably should follow the soccer. Mind you they were both vermin fans as they came to settle in sydney during their glory years. Karma had them produce 2 rooster living daughters ...

Should this apply to the players as well? Local juniors only? Wouldn't have much of a team would we? How about sponsors? Steggles are western Sydney based, they would be gone too. We would have 3000 people turn up at our home games watching a bunch of park footballers in BAW's world. I am sure BAW goes to games bagging bandwagon fans lol..

Yes the residency rule should see a return.
