  • A little perspective

Today Souffs were without their organising halfback and their superstar forward leader.

And they looked a mess and got flogged. Also on a short turnaround.

Sound familiar? Add in the loss of our 2nd best forward too and also the other changes that have taken place and it's no surprise that we're struggling so much.

Because the reality is that any team would (and is) struggling without such crucial cogs in their team.

I can't wait for Pearce, JWH and Cordner to return. I reckon we'll steam home. We just need to jag 3 or 4 wins before then.

They were also missing their starting prop and lock. Souths were never at the races.

It's a lot like the Roosters situation no Sutton Burgess & Reynolds. McQueen Walker & Luke also left their club.

They have 4 competition points. We have 0.

And they had GI at fullback plus Keary in the halves.

              Exactly.

How good was the Cows v Donkeys game?

Watching the Cows play reminds me of our 2013 team.

They at least had Burgess, Sutton and Reynolds when they played us. The following week they played our rivals for the spoon. Easy 4 points.

Getting found out now but have a 4 point start on us. Huge game against them in a few weeks but they will have Burgess back.

Not having burgess and who ever else they think is woinderful had a little to do with their poor form
Not having the referees in their back packet had a lot more to do with it.

When they are treated the same as their opposition they struggle and can't compete

All true. But they still have 4 more points than us.

Inglis appears to have lost the art of milking a penalty.
