Hello, what is the deal with not letting supporters sit in Bays 24 and 25 . These are the elevated bays behind the goal post at the northern end. I have sat there for nearly every home game I have attended since the football stadium was built. We used to sit not he hill at the sports ground ( just so we could look into the sun)
Now we are prevented from sitting there, why? For the Souths game we were not alone asking the six attended ants posted to keep people out. Btw I don't mean the people in wheelchairs who were allowed in as they always have been. When I asked one of the chief attendants he told me I was the 300th person to ask why. The poor attendants were put in a bizarre position of conflict that they didn't deserve. So could someone tell me : 1. What the point of this policy is? 2. Who dreamt it up easts? Jamie Barkley - head of the Trust and named by one of the attendants as the man responsible or 3 Nine/ Foxtel so they can create crowd backdrops?
It is offensive, dumb, uneconomical and anti family and supporter. They have more people employed to keep people out - it's ridiculous.
Families like mine have traditions about where we sit. It's part of the experience. I am not going to the Manly game, but I notice that the bay's are greyed out for any tickets. Could someone's explain why and when this ridiculous piece of bureaucratic over reach will be stopped?
