You offer the ownership but not the responsibility. Parsing words is fun.

I think he's confusing being 'smart' with being a 'cat'. When you're a lanky 18 y/o fullback, you don't go trying to do a Dylan Napa or a Sonny Bill on the opposition's front rowers. You run at holes (rather than into front rowers head on) and play it safe.

Anyway... Mitchell regularly runs at larger, more experienced players and gives them the palm when appropriate. What's this stoner whinging about?

I like Latrell and think he has a really bright future. Whilst he's only 18 years old he's done pretty well to hold his own and whilst he hasn't set the world on fire he definitely hasn't embarrassed himself either.

I do understand the frustration though, in an ideal world I'd have liked to have re-signed RTS or signed a really solid fullback for the next year or two and debuted Latrell on the wing or even in the centres but unfortunately that wasn't to be. Give him another year or two in first grade and I think that is when you'll really start to see his superstar potential.

Too true he is still getting used the pace and hardness of first grade etc...

              The proverbial baptism of fire

Me thinks had he been nursed like a silk worm ala RTS mentored by Mini, Mini by Diamond

We could well have lost him to indifference, self doubt, impatience, petulance the like.....

Somehow I believe being forged in the furnace will transform him to a player well beyond our expectations

With Slater at the zentith, Inglis not far behind, there are great opportunities down the track for this uncut gem!

I think he is progressing nicely.
The funny thing is the comparison to Ingli$. Ingli$ has gone so far backwards in the last 2 years, Mitchell is already better than him now.

Now that's what I call a one eyed supporter!
                  Keep up the great work.

In the Manly game, he pulled of a great one on one when 115kg Darcy lussack made a 40 meter break! All things considered, the kid is doing very well.

                      He is a beast.

When he learns to run the ball back instead of jogging it he'll be awesome. He's rough around the edges like any 18 year old but when he starts to mature he will be a sight to behold. He's an unbelievable talent.
