Bl**dy hell. We need a half decent goalkicker.
I'd even accept getting Darl Halligan or Hazem or Michael O'Connor on the wing doing nothing except front up to kick goals.

Jackson Hastings is really the only capable goal kicker we have who is playing first grade, they haven't used him much at all because of a quad injury, the stocks are very dry in the goal kicking department unfortunately.

We could always bring back Kurt Sherlock as a goal kicker

Robbo has farked up in a major way by not dealing with this properly. If we had a goalkicker we would be 2 wins and 2 losses right now. Maybe we still are not going to win a premiership but it sure as hell beats 0-4.

Whoever the kicker is then just stick with the guy. Its obviously too much pressure to place Mitchell under at the moment.

All three have made a major error for this season.
The way we have regressed over 1 season is unacceptable for a Club like ours..
          Such a shame

Our halves coach is the best kicker we've got IMO

I though SST's technique looked quite good and he struck the ball very cleanly and with good power. Just didn't have the accuracy.

Hopefully Johns is working overtime with him

Its obvious we cant get thru the year without a goalkicker and there isnt one at the club worth two bob.
Id be looking overseas.Josh Mantellato can kick goals from eveywhere and anywhere-hes a freak goalkicker.Yeah he is 28 but he wont cost much and he plays in a position that doesnt count too much...wing.
He will have to learn the Roosters way of defending from the flanks....when he sees the ball heading his way run in between the opposition winger and centre and wave your hands around.Cant be too hard

I've just sent the Hull coach a txt.

"Straight swap - Guerra for Mantellato"

                      His response - "No thanks"

I guess he's been watching our games.

16 x 45min kicking sessions under his belt and SST will have that job fulltime as well. Shame there's only 1 of him...

                          He does hit them sweetly.

I've know guys that could kick at approximately 80% at training but struggle in a game.

                            It's Hastings.

I'd imagine he didn't get much practise in last week. Hopefully his quad is good enough to resume duty again.

Very true. Stage fright is def a factor but this dude just doesn't have it in him to let the team down. I back him.
