Didn't get to watch the game or hear the call but can't say I was surprised with the result. Reading through the posts here trying to get a gauge on how we played... it's seems a combination of dumb arsed mistakes by the usual culprits, Kata scoring 2 past our resident hurdy gurdy in the centres, taking 2 penalty points when we should have been punishing them in their own 10 and how this is a brain dead side with the best coach in the business bar none at the helm. And then I read Guerra should have been binned. Please, enough...

To top it off I then read how we'll beat the vermin next week and how we could finish 2-8 by rd 10. More like 0-14.

It wasnt that bad...a 9 minute lapse cost us 16 points in first half.
Niko needs work once we can teach him and he gains confidence we will win.

What worries me is our attitude from the coach down to this forum that it's ok to lose because we have debutants playing in our team. The truth is we have one and a half playing in key positions. We have Mitchell at fullback and Niko playing half a game at 5/8. More recently we have had two debutant forwards on the bench as well. But we do have enough experience in our side to win games like last week and yesterday. There are a few teams that have big injury tolls at the moment but they still find away to win. We need to forget our troubles and go out next week and put it all on the line. Souths have a few injuries at present and may also lose George Burgess for a week or two with a hand injury. We are close to a win and there is no better time to claim revenge and get our win against Souths.

Yes mate, it was. Plenty of people on here were hoping he'd be the messiah, having never really watched him play.

If you could place the ball in his hands and let him attack all day, then he'd be awesome. But unfortunately he has hands that make Mini look like Fittler, and is one of the worst defenders in the comp.

I just read Vatuvei went off with 15 min to go and Kata sustained an injury at the same time but stayed out there to gloat.

Maybe now that he knows that defending inside SKD is fruitless and he rushes up before the play gets to turnstiles. Seems like he has no trust with his outside man's ability in defence.

Its our pattern of defense ....Pearce is usually there I tend not to see Niko or hastings in sight......we always seem to give a 2 man or 1 man overlap for large periods of games .I would say its young blokes forgetting there roles..Fergo running up to sheck to let in a try was the only option he had and nearly paid off but as you know the prick can step
