Was there any opportunity for Friend to have a crack from dummy half? I was hoping he would take a sneaky attempt as often the defensive line is focused on the first receiver.

I think because the losses always sting a little more we build up a false perception of our own capabilities.
I'm not convinced a team like the Storm are any better at closing tight games.
We are definitely not where we want to be this year but we'll get there.
That one burnt though.

It's earning field position, spreading the defence, getting the last play the ball to the right part of the field and then earning a fast play the ball that are the hard things.

The Roosters are a stupid team and have been a stupid team for many seasons. I don't know what it is that sees the dumb, low percentage plays, repeated time and again, plays such as the mid-field bomb in golden point with its attendant broken defensive line and pathetic attempts to tackle that friggin worriers winger and the cheque. Easts have lost games like that one many times before and you'd think they'd learn.

Idiots.
The Pearce not playing has crippled things if he was playing I would say we would be 3 from 5 & no Cordner & JWH is massive.

I would rather he just drill the outside backs in how to defend. Our right side defence is a shambles, has been shambles all year, and continues to be a shambles.
