Smith gets full support of the board

Interesting article in the Sun Herald today. Suprised no one else picked up on it. Noyce was interviewed and supposedly was not even asked specifically about the coaching role, but volunteered that Smith has the full support of Politis and the board.

Of course, could just be the SH stirring up some trouble. I wouldn't have thought Smith would be anywhere near being sacked, but having the "full support of Nick Politis and the board" is usually a fairly ominous sign.

Surely not, he deserves the benefit of the doubt for this year at least. But as we know, Politis can be an impatient man. Could be some interesting times ahead.

Does the chairman have full support of teh board? He signed off on 4 years. Nick has disappointed for a decade. You were better than that Nick. What the **** happened? Which one of the blood sucking leeches hanging off you have sucked your brains out?
