I can't believe how thin we look when they spread the ball out his way. It's virtually 4 on 2 each time.

Call me mad but there were some really key defining periods in that game both in attack and defence that I reckon the team will come out of with a lot of confidence. A lot of individuals were down on some of their performances but as a team we grew.

The Rabbitohs are an undoubted step up in class from the Warriors but our motivation & desperation will be too much.

      Trust me.
I hope you are right but I certainly dont trust you as off a five day back up I just dont see it happening this Friday night Round 8 or 9 would be my tip

I am enjoying watching these kids go around and a five day turn around with a younger outfit compared to Souths, I think we have a great shot as you can tell the team is more hungry for the win then Souths are... Souths get settled to easily. I noticed it in our first game in them as we even the scores to 10-10 in the second half.

How can you tell how hungry Souths will be this week ?

One would hope so. Whoever is inside Ferguson needs to be streaming at the dumb prick to just stay on his man. Issue is it has been Guerra most often this year, who is equally lazy.

When Pearce comes back either he or Hastings will be there. Both excellent talkers and tacklers.

Cordner coming back and getting Guerra back in the middle and away from the eyes will help too.

Seriously through Ferguson is being talked up as an origin player. Surely he can learn how to position himself in defence

Pearce has always defended 3 in on the right. He will defend where Niko' is defending now. I'd reckon we will see a significant improvement without Niko' in, or Guerra defending out of position. I'd say Guerra will still defend 4 in where he normally does, and not in the middle third.

Cordner usually defends 4 in on the left edge where Taukeiaho is defending at the moment. I'm not a betting man, but I'd reckon Taukeiaho goes back to the middle third, and plays an impact role.

It would have to cross the coaching staffs mind to play Taukeiaho on the right instead of Guerra, he has better hands for one....

Bingo! Every team we play are running all their attack down the side of the dumb and dumber in Ferguson and SKD, taking a calculated risk that the closest they'll get to a tackle is a jersey grab. And more often than not the risk is worth it for the opposition.

And supporters say that young Pom Burgress has defensive issues and so shouldn't be in first grade - look at the ineptness of the blokes in front of him!!

Toups and Elliott can take it pretty easy, knowing that the opposition will run their attacking plays on the opposite side of the field.

There is no excuse for the schoolboy defensive errors being committed by experienced players. I would cop it if it were the young'uns, but they're pulling their weight, only to be let down by team mates who should be better than what they are showing at the moment.

Fergo has no trust at all of his inside defender. In one of the tries scored by Earriors, Fergo was almost touching hands with inside defender when the ball was passed.

On the positive, it is not an issue with Fergo's speed. Very few players would have had the acceleration to turn and chase Dylan Walker the way Fergo did last week. It is an issue that could probably be easily fixed with the use of a baseball bat, or a phone call to The Fan.

napa cost us the game from that kick of from nz which he tried to ground dead. souffs played mandy and lead 16 nil in the first 16 minutes. then they stopped. Mandy are shit(sure they beat us ) but seriously they are. souffs will be taking it easy, a light training drill or two and they will be thinking of how easy we were to beat round 1. i think their pants will be pulled down on friday night.

Guaranteed Souths will score at least 3 tries down the Roosters right edge.
The right edge in defence is just not working & cant be fixed until the toughest & best defensive half/5/8 in the comp returns.
