I think everyone's in denial

Friend may get involved in a lot of gang tackles leading to impressive looking tackle counts, but he's hardly a great defender. Attacking behind the markers (the hookers corridor in defence) is an easy 10+ metres every hit up against us. Friend makes zero impact in his tackling and is more just hanging on until someone else actually brings the runner down. It's not like he is Fitzy cutting a dozen people in half every game.

If he didn't worry himself with flopping into so many tackles maybe he wouldn't be so gassed 25 mins into each half leading to so many errors at critical times in attack?
