I think that Myles - and quite a few here - have forgotten that kicking the ball away wasnt penalised last year. It was frustration. I wish we would have a red hot go at the referees for a few weeks in a row.

Frustration after Pearce threw that stupid pass and the ball was lost in attack.

The ball boy had another ball to throw in...just persecution of the Roosters, plain and simple.

Nates first 3 yrs Where rubbish!! he did nothing except get into trouble he hade 1 good yr becase he wanted to clean his name up after the hotel crap..... He would play 1 good origin game then out for 4 weeks suspended then back to orgin and suspended again and when he did play he was half asleep!!!! We dont need him

yeahh it was but at that stage of the game we where getting our asses handed to us i dont really blame him to trying to throw the pass we needed somthing.... anything!!!! he was at least trying somthing... i wish i can say that for the rest of the team

It was a penalty...as soon as he kicked away, I knew he had given away another penalty. He shouldn't have done it despite the opinion that last year it was not penalised. I find that hard to believe.

I'm pretty sure the ref warned Myles before he kicked the ball away. He told him not to. He did it. We got penalised. What do you expect?

Yes he did. Go to NRL.com. Hover over the "video" tab and then click "2011 game analyser". Make sure you are open at the Cowboys Roosters game. Down the bottom you will see a blue circle with penalties next to it. Click on it. Find the blue circle with the P in it at 26:06 in the game half's part of the screen. Click on it. Watch it and listen. It's as clear as day that the ref said don't kick the ball.

I say lets grant Myles an immediate release and he can pursue his off-season alcoholism earlier than normal. Let him go the GC now and start disrupting another club. There were two turning points against the Cowboys. First FPN and SK Dumb bombed that try and then Myles kicked the ball away like an undisciplined player from a pub team. That was enough for me. Fark him off now.
