Just watched this great story about Paul White, the Broncos boss on the ABC. Great story. You can see it on iview.

Rugby League - the worst and (in this case) the best of everything.

When Australians look at who they want to be they can turn to movies or songs; when they look at who they are they can turn to rugby league.

I agree - no Nick Politis; no roosters. I remember him buying up all the remaining GF tickets back in the 70s and giving them away so that people in hospitals etc could see the game live on TV,

He's also chaired other clubs... e.g. Sydney Olympic in the old NSL. Didn't realise that until a mate (who grew up living next to Robbo in Camden) told me a few weeks back.
