The posters who keep demanding Smith be sacked just sound, I am sorry to say, like idiots. Fred mate, why don't you give it a bloody rest for a while? Nobody is sacking Smith, and nor should he be.

The club does not give a toss about what you want, and I do not give enough of a toss about what you want to keep reading the same thing from you hundreds of times or more.

with Gould on TV its never about the truth, its about either
        - saying things that he thinks make him sound like RL's messiah
        - saying deliberatly stupid to make Ray Warren sound like he has missed his meds.

No matter how smart he is until he gets out the media I would want him no where near the Roosters

Penrith are 2 from 3 since gould arrived there. They actually are starting to look like a footy team for the first time in years.

Gould spent a couple of weeks with the Cowboys in the off season and they are going gangbusters this year.

            A coincidence?

Didn't we beat Penrith in the second final last year after they finished 2nd? So they went ok enough last year for 2 wins this year not to be a stunning turnaround.

And Gould never in his 5 years with us achieved what Smith did in his first.

So yes, it is a coincidence.

I dont recall gould's team finishing with the spoon or close to it which is where we are headed under your famed brian smith.

No coincidence, but I think at Penrith its not what he has done but what he might do.
And for me personally I think he still probably has it, but I would prefer him to stop the circus clown act first

Fred, how much of Penrith's turnaround has to do with players lifting due to an uncertain future.

NQLD is a poor example as well. They are healthy for the first time in years. Recruited well. World number one player and the best prop(and in my opinion a top 10 player in the world) running around freely.

With some good luck, they will have a purple period in the next few years.
