Wasn't it only a medial strain, that will only be 3 or 4 weeks max

Depending on grading, yes could only be 3 or 4 weeks. However going on his body language though, doubt that would be the case. Fingers crossed

looked to be more than a minor MCL sprain, wouldn't be surprised if its a significant tear, if that's the case it moves into the 8-12 week range.

Ribbo said medial in the presser so that is better than it might have been

Perhaps Aiden Guerra will have to return to the second row next week.

You can't use pain as a guide when it comes to knee injuries.

No, I don't see that happening because that would mean Jayden playing 80 mins at 6 which it appears they have deemed he is incapable at this stage of his development.

He'd better because NRL fantasy don't seem to wanna make him a dual position player. I asked Scout why and he gave no answer...

If it is a sprain (grade 1) 3-4 weeks he will be back and possibly sooner.

A tear (grade 2-3) and you are looking at 6 weeks at the earliest for a grade 2 on the minor side of the scale.

Again pain isn't an indicator, I did a grade 3 (on the high side of the grade 3 which is a range of 50-100% of medial collateral ligament being torn through) tore the whole thing just about off the bone with an associated grade 2 (2 tears) playing touch last September and hardly felt a thing (as nerve endings torn clean off) other than my knee going sideways and I actually came back on at the end of game as we had only one sub (silly me but as I felt only a wonky knee but no real pain and was willing it to go away lol). The pain didn't kick in for me until hours later and my rehab was 6 months and still not 100% (specialists and physios said it will never be the same as before) and I play competitive sport and train at a fairly high level so I recover well for someone my age.

I'm hopeful it's a sprain as I read Robbo was more upbeat about it and the medicos can usually tell if it is a sprain or tear before scans but the scans will reveal and confirm the severity of the injury.

Fingers crossed he is back sooner rather than later.
