  • Heighington...yes or no?

    NRLNEWS
RR: Looks like Tigers lock Chris Heighington may be shopped around to other NRL clubs.

I'd take him in a heart beat. A great replacement for Myles and Anasta. Unlucky not to play for NSW.

I am a big fan of Heighington. He is one of the few big men with a high workrate and good athleticism. I doubt he would come cheap.

So was it Heighington's girlfriend or was he doing the sneaking?

        Abso****inglutely.

He is EXACTLY the kind of player we need. Myles type workrate without the lazy bullshit. He goes hard.

But you watch our idiot club go after Blair instead.

Too old as a long term pick up.

          14 January 1983 (age 28)

When Myles, Anasta and Mini are gone, that clears up about a million bucks.

I say make a play for Tariq and Brother Ashton next year.

Heighington is a genuine athlete, and fitter than most 20yo. I would not be concerned about his age.

I know the image is a bit gay but it makes the point about his athleticism

The guy that couldn't pick a ball up from a scrum LOL. Love him for the obvious reason.

A replacement for Braith yes, different player to Myles though... If Braith seriously bulks up I reckon he could play lock quite successfuly, there were dime good sign on Saturday imo.

A definite yes from me but not at any price.

He's easily a 300k+ player... That does need to be taken into account.

Absolutely! Without question. My preferred option is to make a big play for Bolton. But if we could get Heighington as of next year, then definitely. This guy has heart and passion.

I'd have him in a heartbeat, he'd be a brilliant addition. I wouldn't pay anymore than 350-360K for him though.
