The Warriors game hurt however watching Maubs skin RTS was gold.

Yes loved that moment against the Warriors - always felt Mitch plays best on the right hand side with Cordner on the left.

How Poor is RTS defensively this year, i didn't think he was that bad. Maybe he was listening to Mini week in week out last year

Maubs deserves to be a one club player with a role,at the club after his days on the field are over

I put these stats together together back in Round 2 when I was arguing the significance of Aubusson to our team at the moment. He is a genuine attacking threat for us and we don't have many at the moment, Aubusson will always draw criticism when the forward pack struggles for go-forward because he isn't a yardage eater and it's easy to make him the scapegoat. However if you accept the fact that he's not going to make you much yardage but he will provide the team an attacking threat then it's alot easier to accept his position in the team. His lack of yardage definitely puts a little more pressure on our forward pack but at full strength our forward pack is world class so there are no issues there.

It's based on games purely played by the following players in the second row and their ability to break the line, his strike rate is freakishly good in comparison.

Impressive stats R6 and thanks for sharing.

Would you trade him for an effective ball playing edge forward like SBW?

Maubs probably costs 1/3 of SBW so definitely a keeper in terms of managing the salary cap and value for money.
Also, he bleeds RW&B so deserves to finish his career as a one Club player ...

One of the best tackling techniques of the last decade also. A joy watching him dominate players in defense who have an extra 15kg on him.

I hope that Mitchell "Roy" Aubusson plays out his entire career with our club and that he can reach upwards of 300 matches played. He has been a fantastic player for our club and his talent has been vastly underrated by the wider rugby league community.

Aubusson is the perfect example of why the morons who use SuperCoach scores to decide who played well don't know what they are talking about. A completely underrated and unheralded champion while stats seeking plodders like Nathan Hindmarsh are lorded as heroes of the back row.

He is the best value for money player in the comp, and I would give him up for any 2nd rower in the NRL. It's criminal that he will never see a NSW jersey, and just batshit insane that he's never even picked up a bloody city/country jersey. Hell even most of our own fans don't rate him highly enough, wanting him relegated to the bench when Cordner and Guerra are both fit

A keeper, who would have made a great captain of the tri-colours if he wasn't on the bench so much.

I think one of his other strengths is his ability to pick his line and his footwork. Fits that old coaching line - run at the spaces not their face.
