SMH poll - Should the Roosters axe coach Brian Smith?

I dont think he should be sacked but when we signed him every bloke and his dog said to me, " he will do wonders in his first year and then he will kill your Club". Apparently he grates on his players very quickly.
I am just very surprised that a guy who is supposed to be so strong on discipline allows our players to give away so many dumb penalties. It happens every week and continues to happen. And why the heck does he continue to pick Riddell? Ok, if Friend needs a break then stick someone else in dummy half for 20 minutes. A young kid from NYC or any bloody one. Anyone but RIDDELL!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Riddell is a joke.Embrace the Hate! JC

There is nothing wrong witht he Sydney Pullets. It is thier coach that is the problem. St George: Parramatta: Newcastle: Illawarra and now the Pullets. Can nobody see the pattern?

Five minutes with each player? Why does it take five minutes to say "Don't drop the F%$#ing ball!!!!"? Surely that would be a good place to start. And no field sessions yet? Are they having theory lessons on how to catch or are they so fatigued they aren't up to some catching practice? Take a lesson fromt ehir defence - it is so good because they get so much practice doing it during games. Practice some basic attacking skills (usually most successful when your team has the ball) and it may improve also. And as for last year's "Captain of the Year" getting his head in the press having a public sulk about not getting a contract extension when he expected it to and not playing the position he wants to, surely that's a bit of a sign his priorities are not on team performance but on his own well being. Braith Anasta - OVER RATED!!!!

I'm a Roosters fan but it looks like the players egos are out out of control. Its all about themselves and not their team mates. Hence giving away the most penalties of any team, they don't play with dicipline. Last year was fluke but they've ended up believing their own publicity. Learn some humility boys and play for your team-mates.
