But I can picture you supporting your local woolworths store, cheering the employees as they stock shelves and BAWling your head off when your favourite check-out chick defected to coles.

Wishing harm on, or taking solace injuries to players is pathetic.

        Yes.
Poor, poor New Zealand Warriors and poor Roger Tuivasa-Wreck.

Cant see where he said he gets enjoyment from the RTS injury.

I think Roger made a really poor decision for his future career, despite the extra cash. But I still wish him a speedy recovery as its good to watch him.

RTS has already gone from the 2nd best player in the game to borderline top 25.

His career will be downhill from here.

That said, he has absolutely nothing to do with the Roosters. He's as much a Rooster as Greg Inglis or Cam Smith so why is there a thread on him on this forum?

I don't get all this Roger love, he signed with the Warriors and expected us to beat their over the top offer or he was gone. There was no negotiation no loyalty just match it or else, others like Napa and Aubbo could have went else where for more but stayed... So FARK Roger.

Fark RTS - he is no longer a Rooster so I don't give a damn if he gets injured or not!
For those who keep comparing the NRL to the "real" world - it is apples and oranges because the "real" world does not have a salary cap!
                    As I said, fark RTS!

                      Completely different situation.
I blame Ron Jones for that.

                        Exactly.
                        We are football supporters.
What's wrong with seeing poetic justice in a player who did the wrong thing by our club copping an injury?
People who keep comparing nrl players on the club merry-go-round to Joe Blow getting a better job offer are missing the point. And trying to look all sensitive and new age by belittling fellow Easts fans is pathetic.
I ain't gonna shed crocodile tears for some young millionaire hurting his knee.
Hope he gets some time off football to count his money.

I've wished other players ill fortune, i admit it.... but not Rog. I absolutely loved watching him come through the grades then turning into one of the most exciting players in the game. Always seemed super polite and gave his best. My 11yo daughter always followed Easts, but i dare say she loves them now due to watching RTS ! I wish him nothing but success, i just hooe he has an off day when they play us!!

Artie played 8 seasons at the Roosters and left when he was 33. He also made his name for himself in QLD and for a few years at Balmain before becoming a Roosters legend. Completely different.
