Good bloke... I was a student with him back in the day. Can't say we were close or anything but he was one of those chilled dudes who everybody got on well with.

Such rotten luck for him, but I guess that's life? He's probably happy he got to play some NRL this season. One of those guys who loves his footy... I think a lot of people in his situation would do anything for a game in the NRL (including break a leg).

Good news, I am hearing rumours Hendo could be fit in time for the Grand Final if we make it.

I read Round 11 for both JWH and Cordner, is that the latest they'll be back? I've read ANZAC day for Cordner before as well so lets hope.

I feel we have a pretty easy run for the next few weeks and we could ease these players back in. I think we can beat Penrith and next week I'm confident we can beat St George even with no players returning but if we could have Cordner and JWH return in Round 8 they'd have 2 weeks against teams we should be beating (Gold Coast and Newcastle) in preparation for a match against the Bulldogs. Three games should be enough to shake off any rust and raise their match fitness. With Pearce, JWH and Cordner playing I'm confident we could pull off an upset against the Dogs.
