Well we will see on the weekend if they sorted themselves out. Maybe only for a week but hey!!! I hope the senior players stepped up and said we haven't been doing enough!! If they didn't then it was a waste of time. THey could have been out doing training drills on how to hold the ball correctly or how to complete a set of 6. It's not 8 or unlimited tackles only six. I hope nobody had a go at the boys actually working their asses off each week because that would be counter productive. As for my reactions to that article I have to ask why the Roosters let it get so bad before having one of these BS "truth sessions" where from the report little truth was told. All articles by players, coaches, commentators and admin staff are full of cliches. How many ways can you say it? The thing about the polo shirts whilst might seem trivial is probably an insight to the issues. I would imagine that the club instructs it players to wear some particular shirt on the bus and some couldn't be bothered. That is a drop off in attitude and commitment. Petty little detail but if you are instructed to follow a guideline, then you should.
Better this session happens too late rather than not at all. Lets hope it equates to a better game on Saturday night. I guess only a win will appease the masses.Comment
