  • Still ain't stoked with Guerra

Guess he played ok tonight, despite the errors. But is that all we get?
He ain't earning the origin player pay packet I imagine he's on.
If Cordner and SST were fit he'd be dispensable.

I thought he went ok tonight.

He's finally match fit which is a positive.

      Unforced errors farked us.

According to NRL.com, Guerra made 22 runs tonight for 217 metres, he made 37 tackles, missed zero and made a line break. What else do you want from a second rower?

He's strung a few good games together. Was unimpressive starting the year but he's doing well now. Will be really good when we have Cordner, Guerra and Aubusson all in the back row playing together making massive metres.

Stats probably show that there were better forwards tjan napa last week? But stats Don't show what tackles hurt,.and what runs change a match.

We are rewarding players by saying they improved or that they put in a great effort, players should be putting in a great effort every week. We have gotten used to mediocrity, that now we think anything better than that is awesome.

All I can say is I thought Guerra played well. Lots of half breaks and the stats are pretty impressive as well. Any coach or fan wants a forward who's running 200+ metres in a match.

Seeing as we have statistics, we probably don't need to watch games anymore.
Why don't we just get the stat sheets e-mailed to us and we'll decide who we thought played ok based on that?

Will be really good when we have Cordner, SST and Aubusson all in the back row playing together making massive metres. At least until SBW shows up.

Do you have anything nice to say about any of our players? Didnt play bad. I still think our team needs a better leader. Bring back sonny bill!

Yeah I thought he played ok.
But seven rounds in and we've had what, maybe two ok games from him?
The salary cap is a much harder marker than me.

                          Guerra went good tonight
                          When you trust your television
what you get is what you got
Cause when they own the information
they can bend it all they want

He's certainly no Cordner thats for sure, Guerra's style is ok when we are eating the meters with hard charging forwards making the hard yards so he can spin and slide on the edges but with Cords, SST and Jared out we need forwards who can bend the line and Guerra aint it. Guerra contributes but doesn't dominate so the stats don't exactly tell the tale.

                              This is no good.
                              All I'm getting is contradiction.

The Guerra dilemma comes down to value for money and how much cap space we're gonna need to take this promising team to the next level.
                              Back to the drawing board.
