Not sure why we're blooding matterson. I would think our forward depth is still better than our halves depth and I'd rather see Guerra back at 5/8 with papali in the team again. Looks like jwh won't be back this week which is surprising.

Agree BC.
I was surprised with the changes Robbo made vs Penrith.
Trent also stated this week that JWH in not quite ready and should be back for the Knights game.
Looking at some pics of the lad he will
make Freddy look small.
Bold choice by Robbo to debut him in this game off a broken leg injury.
But we were criticising him for not making changes so...
I certainly wasn't criticising him for not making changes. We're losing games because of injury and inexperience. Nothing else. I have no doubt we'll win more than we lose once jwh Pearce and cordner are back. Whether it'll be enough..

FWIW there's photos of the final training session up on the Roosters' site. You can see Burgess, Frei, Matterson and JWH training.
No Cordner? Could just be an 'all in' training session... but maybe we'll see JWH and no Cordner? JWH loves ANZAC Day matches... if he does play, I hope it isn't a risky/emotional decision. I wanna see a JWH who is 100%... not some lamearse GI-style effort where you've got a guy with a busted knee playing with heavy strapping holding things together in place of a ligament.
