Using our attacking weapons
Discipline..
Nobody will like it because it is easier to blame someone else...

2013/14/15 we had star players who could over come lopsided penalty counts and possession counts. now we dont , we have to play more disciplined dare i say conservative type of game because ...sbw, maloney, jennjngs , rts aee not there to pull off the big play...pretty simple.

also confidenxce level of said team was very hifh, they knew they were a champion team...sbw was a winner so were others..i doubt the current team is quite as confident ao in a tight game with 5 to go that confidence becomes increasingly important. just a thought.

I'm thinking this thread must be a joke, coz no one could be that idiotic.
If we said to any opposition coach last year, "It's your lucky day, you can remove any 6 players from our team for today's game". Who do you think they would pick? I will tell you.
RTS
Jennings
Maloney
Pearce
Cordner
JWH
Our 6 most influential players from last year. Now take the 6 best players from the Cowboys. You think Paul Green would be sitting pretty? Or try the 6 best from Broncos.
Then you look at the 'spine' if our team. We have lost 3/4 of it. Not only lost it, but replaced it with 3 teenagers.
Now we all know that 3 of those 6 moved on so we were never going to have them. It was always going to be tougher but Mitchell Pearce really through a spanner in the works. Hastings was supposed to keep learning from him. Alongside him. It was always the case that Nikorima was supposed to play like his older brother. To last 20 or 25 mins against tired forwards. Instead the Pearce situation put paid to all that and Robbo was forced to do things he never intended. Like start Nikorima.
If some supporters can't see that there are valid reasons for our current position then honestly you need to give it away. Nothing at all has gone our way this year. Even down to losing to both Canberra and Manly because of poor goal kicking. From memory I don't think Robbo missed those conversions.
If we had a similar team to last year, or had not lost 6 of our best with the spine issues, then maybe you have a point. I think it's only Tako we are missing now, so let's see how we respond. Let's see how Hastings does now he has Pearce helping him.Embrace the Hate! JC

I can see the truth in what most of you say here and agree. I support our coach, but his performance must be held accountable when we are the most error prone side in the comp 3 years running. Forcing passes, pushing passes, blindly passing, poor ball carries, poor catching, making risky plays near our own line like going for an intercept surrendering a repeat set, passing into touch, kicking into touch, throwing SKD looong passes near our line with no defence, 5 run ups then high ball - are we trying to surprise the opposition?
On a wet day I expect errors but the one consistency about our side is the error rate. No matter which roster we have, no matter what new rookie appears on the scene it's a dropathon. We average around 12-13 errors per game and we expect to win???
Is it the lower grade coaches? Is it Robbo's intense playing style? Whatever, it's too forced and needs to be totally revamped as we can't win games with this error rate.
The buck stops with the coach so he needs to address this 3 year old problem. That's all I'm asking. Fix the errors Trent and I'll be your number one fan. He's had 3 years and the handling is atrocious and appalling. Anyone remember Johnny Brass and how we used to be renowned for our handling. What's happened to us?“Soon will the present day order be rolled up, and a new one spread out in its stead”- (Baha’u’llah)

let me make this clear i support robinson fullstop. most of what has happened is beyond his control, but yea i dont have rose tinted glasses telling me we are the best team in the comp when we currently are not. i think some posters on here are overly optimistic, some are overly pessismistic, i think well be right but this year may be a mid tabe finish...just saying.
