    Some super impressive touches today!

Pity no one offered any support. It was like he was in no man's land sometimes. Robinson's use of the interchange this year still has me scratching my head.

Yep no one pushing up with him, in saying that as others learn his game this will come.

I liked his dummy half work and thought he was super busy.

He looks like a better prospect than Hastings. Plays more direct and holds the ball in front like a true playmaker.

I would stick him at 5/8 with Pearce at half. Hastings hasn't impressed me this year. Watson has high energy, speed, creativity and is a great support player. Exactly what we need.

Watson has speed and brains - I was calling for Watson since round 1 after seeing the inept Niko. I think Watson is better as a run on player and dare I say Jake to the bench. Rob is tactics similar to Stuart to the point Guerra and Friend are just being run into the ground. Robbo Robots ?

Reminds me of Daniel Mortimer a lot in stature & style. Will be interesting to see how he develops.

Could offer something off the bench this year.

If he could kick goals, I'd be tempted to drop Hastings (after his poor decisions today) with Pearce coming back next week.. He showed a lot of energy, which is something this team hasn't shown a lot this year.. Unfortunately, unless there are further injuries, we won't see too much of him or Matterson again with JWH and Pearce's timely return..

I was actually thinking a bit like cronk but faster, it was nice to see some speed out of dummy half and probing to put players through holes like cordner at the end, alas he lost the ball.

So how many NRL debutants does that make for us so far this season???

PS Not saying this is a terrible thing.

I think I can answer that, but correct me if I'm wrong:

                          1. Joe Burgess (maybe you count him out for playing pommy footy)
                          2. Mitchell Frei
                          3. Vincent Leuluai
                          4. Latrell Mitchell
                          5. Jayden Nikroima
                          6. Abrahm Papalii
                          7. Eloni Vunakece
                          8. Ryan Matterson
                          9. Connor Watson

                          Quite a roster....

He looks like an outstanding young player and adds some real zip off the bench.

I wonder if he has a future at centre? It'd be a shame to lose him if we can't find a spot that's for sure.
