So after seeing the likes of nikorima, Mitchell, vunakece, Frei, Papalii, Watson, Leuluai, Matterson, and burgess get a run, and the likes of JWH, Pearce, Copley, SST, Liu and Tupou to come back, who do you think our final and best 17 will be? I'd go with:

1. Latrell mitchell
2. Joe burgess - I feel for now he may start given Tupou's form.
3. SKD
4. Blake Ferguson
5. Brendan Elliot- to me he has impressed me more than Copley to stay in the team
6. Jackson Hastings - he might go a little better when Pearce takes off some pressure
7. Mitchell Pearce
8. JWH- might play off the bench until he is 100%
9. Jake friend
10. Dylan Napa
11. SST
12. Aidan Guerra
13. Boyd Cordner

14. Mitchell Aubusson - could be our utility player over Watson, matterson, nikorima
15. Kane Evans
16. Sam Moa
17. Isaac Liu

I doubt this will happen - I'd say Aubo will revert back to the bench to play the utility role and Elliot/SKD will play left centre with the other playing right wing. But I reckon we get the most out of our squad with this 17

I don't mind this team except for Niko. You would think that Connor and Matterson have jumped ahead him now.

I prefer SKD at wing.

Hastings would need to pick his game up now that Pearce is back. But there is no alternative goal kicking option on the field for 80 minutes.

Does anyone know if Matterson has played centre before? It would be a shame if he doesn't get more opportunities after a great debut and I can't see him replacing anyone once we are back at full strength.

I would put Pearce at 5/8 and leave Hastings at 1/2. Don't know why but I have a gut feeling it might work out a little better. With all players available I can't see any of the following missing out being on the bench: Moa, Evans , Aubusson , Liu .

Think we need aubo in the centres to improve our defence. Would persist with nikorima but would only be giving him 15-20 minutes a game to let him develop properly. This 13 wouldn't be leaking many points. I'd like to see more of matterson. But not as a half. I'd rather see him played as a genuine ball playing lock.

The only backline change I think Robbo might make is to bring in Copely at centre shift SKD to the wing at the expense of Burgess. Who still for mine lacks size, fitness and positional awareness.
