I hope he can play better and takes the line on, but from what I've seen, I'm wondering what the fuss is all about.

but......in his dfence -Yes he shouldve passed it but he made the run and broke the line.....what was the support doing and where were they?.
Inexperienced for sure .......still he is the halfback and players should be tracking him.
He has the class though you can see that .Not quick but can run at the line and through a whole Ive seen him do that plenty and no support to be seen.
The whole team has to have the attitude to enjoy themselves and not stress out so much .I think a few things will be put right against Newcastle .
One major thing is this team has to do is get rid of these lapses .In every game our minds go off the job for about 15 minutes and this is where we have lost most games .Always conceding 12-18 points. Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the universe

Geez the kid is 20 years old & has been left to run the whole bloody team himself. Finally with Pearce back it will take some of the pressure off Jacko & he can get back into his own game.. Until Matterson played last week the only other person who kicked in general play was Friend & his kicking has been atrocious. I don't remember Nikorima kicking once in all that time nor running plays.

Some of them such as Norman and Walker may have kicked on the odd occasions but they are certainly not recognised kickers

Most of that bunch kick field goals quite regularly which would indicate they could probably kick goals if required. Pearce had one attempt 10 metres to the left of the posts and missed by 15 metres. Unbelievable nd worrying that a professional footballer playing in the halves would have zero ability to kick a goal. I use to go down to the local field with my mates and we could bang them over from wide out more often than not.
What has kicking field goals got to do with kicking goals??? And yeah...can see the similarities between 'banging them over with your mates' and actually kicking a goal in an NRL premiership game.
