Deliberate and premeditated hit to the head goes well beyond what I would describe as reckless or careless

1. Unlike the pathetic Knights cat who tried to milk a penalty from Napa's harmless tap on his shoulder, young Joe stood straight up even though he had been illegally whacked. Had it not been for the fact that the referee noticed him stumbling around in backplay, there would not have even been a penalty.

2. Nobody gets sent off these days, I know, but the result of this incident was that the Roosters played with 16 men while the Knights played with 17. I think a free interchange is insufficient compensation.

The shoulder charge was a dog act and Burgess got straight up (to his credit - showing a lot of character.)
