1. Latrell... future star who is finding great form
2. Burgess... UK international
3. Aubo... country Origin player
4. Fergo... an incumbent Kangaroo
5. SKD... Kiwi international

Obviously we've had a poor start to 2016... I don't need to repeat the reasons why. IMO by the end of the season our form will be equivalent to that of a top 4 team.

I say keep the cash for a marquee signing. Maybe it won't be Hayne, Coote, SBW...etc. Like Jennings, I think a star will become disgruntled with his current club SOME TIME over the next 12 months. It's good having some money in the bank for when they come knocking.

Burgess is a rubbish pussy reserve grader at best. I'll be amazed if he is here after this season.

Aubo isn't a full time back and Burgess has played only just 2 and a bit games and in case you haven't noticed, Fergo is struggling. We need some more firepower out there and Semi would be a good pick up. You do realize he is only on around $250K currently so it is not like he wouldn't be interested in a pay rise.

Jennings? He's great, but a decision was made to let him go, probably because he was going to chew up too much of our cap as he entered the twilight of his career. Nothing has changed.

Unless, of course, Parramatta are off their heads and pay half his salary for us. That isn't going to happen. If anybody, Parramatta will release a few average toilers from their squad - not their stars. So forget about Jennings, Semi, Foran, Norman.

True, releasing players 18-25 will barely help at all, most of those are on 80-120 tops and as you say they still have to replace them with guys on 80k minimum anyway. They also have to be able to find clubs willing to take over the contracts, and their not gonna b banging your door down to pick up the shit. Add to this that nobody is gonna take over the full value of any players contract given that a third of the season is done.

I have no doubt about Semi's ability. However, he's not on the market and would fetch far more than $250k on the open market. WAAAAAY too much for a winger IMO.

FWIW - I hardly call scoring a hat trick on the weekend and getting selected for the Kanagaroos (by the experts, not emotional fans) 'struggling.'

Burgess... scored a double in his first and was going alright until some grub shoulder charged him right in the melon. He's highly rated, and I don't think we've seen enough of him to suggest he should be punted based on form.

Jennings for mine, I really do miss his unique ability to score those freaky tries from nothing as well as his defence in the centres, So So So much better than Fergo. I know i don't go on Toops but he's a different player outside Jennings.
