I still believe that the state of origin eligibility will be changed to fit him in either this season or next season but we will see. Again I do apologise to you Cockadoodledoo.
Apology accepted.. I am not sure about the changing of the eligibility for Semi but if there is anything consistent about the eligibility rules, it is that they keep changing them.

None of those are right for us

Maybe Edwards or Mau, a forward for depth like Wicks.....

      Not much there really
I reckon Peats. They should auction him off.

They have another rake in De Gois.

Don't rate peats. Tackles his ass off but offers zero in attack. Rarely runs the ball? I'd take gutherson who I have big wraps on. Covers all backline positions. I'd also take Paulo over mau.

I work in Parramatta with a lot of Parra Tragics and old timer footballers and have been to a few of their games invited by mates and have watched a few of their games over the past couple of years as a result. From watching about 10-15 of their games live or on TV, I am convinced Norman is a very, very good player and not a fringe first grader not worth 200k as some posters have remarked or the other one not being fit to tie on Maloney's boot laces. Both are different sort of players but both integral parts of the FG teams they play for. Norman is not a good as goal kicker as Jimmy as he is only a back up goal kicker for Parra behind Gordan but he is a bit more creative than Jimmy and at 26 or 27 is coming into his 'peak years'.

Further Jimmy shades him as a hole runner and in the backing up department, however Norman is a floating style runner who glides like Lockyer and Moylan do and is quicker than he appears, has a superior general kicking game to Jimmy and is an excellent leader like Jimmy.

One of my best mates who is a junior rugby league coach told me at the start of the season that Norman was their best player last year and recently just remarked to me that so far this year has been their best by some margin. In a team that has performed very well this year up until last week he must be a little better than just going ok for the 13 a side game lol....

I just cannot see us picking up a half/5/8 midseason but stranger things have happened.

Parra have quite a few good players however we have most positions covered where they are strong and Jennings ain't coming back. So as for picking up a player I would only pick up Semi as Parra I think will move heaven and hell to keep Norman at the moment. Peats would be tempting but he wouldn't come over to play second fiddle to Jake.

I don't want Peats. i just think he's the obvious one to go as he'd be on approx 400k a year and they have De Gois.

No way will they shed Norman or Flash Gordon!

Paulo is a beast, pity he is signed with cbr for next year already. Can't see the point in signing Mau,we have 7 or 8 capable back rowers as it is.

I could see Gordon going. He only has a year or two in him. Gutherson is a more than capable fullback with a big future. Perhaps we would take Gordon and shift latrell to ctw and move aubo back to the bench. Gives us more depth a flexibility. Not advocating for it but it's certainly an option if we've underspent. Latrell will continue to develop at wing or fb and we could use the experience at the back. Especially over origin where we can't drop games.

I think they'd also value Gordons experience. Especially in such a key position. He has also contributed to their solid start.

I can't see them letting him go.

Id take Hayne if he doesn't get a start this year in the NFL (which is looking more likely btw). Parra cant afford him back.

It's starting to look that way...
