Sure their defence was OK but they are clueless with the ball in hand. They will get flogged next week. I look at the way Manly attack and they are awesome. Smith should study their videos and see how they do it. I was Impressed by Pritchard and Guerra was great, Cordner looked OK for his first game. Mini gets bounced around like a pinball, I know he took a couple of bombs but that's his job. Pearce was ordinary again maybe Manly would do a swap with Cherry-Evans, now that kid can play. I know it was a win but the Warriors were terrible and that's why we won.

That's the most positive I've heard you sound all year coggy. Atleast some parts of their game was ok.
    You are slowly turning.

If I was coaching them I'd be furious with that.

Same old shit every week from you regardless of the result. Our defence was outstanding again, Mini had a brilliant game, took those difficult high balls all night, set up a try, had linebreak as well, Pearce also had a good game and i was impressed with Cordner on debut. Still got some work to do on our offense and dicipline. Overall, a much better performance then the crap we've been dishing up most of this year.

Coggie, roosters will make the 8. Easy draw for the next month and players coming back. We will improve when it counts.

Don't be a dick like last year. Jump on the bandwagon now.

Yeah well they are crap each week. If they play well I'll say something nice about them but that was far from impressive.

If they keep playing like that they won't make the 8.

I agree with Coggy's analysis, but for now any improvement or a win is a good thing.. baby steps with this team unfortunately

The first sensible reply. I'm not trying to be a killjoy but seriously we are so far off the pace it's not funny.

Toddy has been the poor one, Pearce is still taking it hard to the line and getting his kicks through.

Funny how the ones who call it how it is still have their favourites.

I am not saying we are playing like champs. The easy draw will help us get to where we need to be in round 20. On the fringe of the 8, with a full-strength team, and some confidence restored.

Join the bandwagon. I know you want to.

Where were the Warriors terrible? They completed at 85%. 90% in the first half yet we led them 12-0. They had plenty of ball but didn't make one line break. I think our defense was more than just ok and that is where we won it.
The other good thing about tonight was that we completed at 77% which is a huge improvement in recent weeks and it was a wet night. We would have won a few more games if our completions were at this rate throughout the year.
