i sort of look at adam blair ans its hard to deny bellamy / bennett didnt get the best out of him. again most of it is cattle at your disposal but a good coach can indeed have an effect. melbournes record does speak for itself, theyll be weakened when big 3 retireno doubt but i dont think theyll collapse in a heap. i suspect because of pride in performance - something i feelt we lacked last game. again just an opinion.

No I think Cleary is actually in line to replace Tony Archer very soon....

That is why I think they have him there to assist with the terrible Bunker as Greenberg & Grant have had enough with the mistakes of the bunker.

Actually on Ivan Cleary for a moment. He was always the first to arrive and last to leave fan days. He was always gracious and pleasant and took plenty of photos. He was a very good goal kicker and a pretty good centre and fullback.

Regarding the Roosters playing like busted arses, I've been told the reason by a person very much in the know. Half the team wanted Pearce gone, the other half (the party boys) want him to stay.

This is what the Hayne talk is about, Pearce going to the Tigers to replace Mitch Moses. It's what Wayne wants, Pearce to be a tiger's stalwart.

I heard rumblings in December/January, before the Incident, that some players were sick of Pearce and the partying and resulting **** ups at training. This was from a current player and if you go through my posts you'll see I posted it at the time regarding players going to the casino and getting on drugs in the off season. I know nothing about what the team is thinking or how Pearce is getting on with the boys now but I wouldn't be surprised if something similar was true.

And tbh I'm happy to stick with Pearce until a better half comes on the market or wants to come to us. I don't think it'll happen though. I think the coaching of how the halves play needs to change more so than the actual halves. Would love to see Pearce become a running floating 5/8 and get out of this ineffective, risk averse football that we still seem to **** up.
