  • Justin carney!

Great all round game last night!

His defence was amazing,he was smashing everything in sight, and his reading of the play was awesome.
As for his offense, nearly set up an early try early in the match and looked dangerous throughout the match.

His game will continue to improve as the year goes on,and once he gets the ball with a little more room to move the sky is the limit..

Definite keeper, and a potentially great centre for our club!

I won't be getting too carried away with that performance.

Would much prefer him on the wing but with our massive injury toll he will more than likely stay in the centres.

Like him at centre, has that build like J Sau and doesn't have to contend with the high ball.

His first good game for us.

Let's see if he can back it up next week.

Center is his position last night proved to the knockers that he just needs more time in first grade....

Agreed... he's too short and slow for the wing.
In the centres he can use his size better IMO. Out on the wing he's more the big guy who would smash you if he could catch you...

Can't say he's amazing but he's putting in a decent effort.

As I said in another thread here, ...be patient, he's been injured 'recently' and is getting better with every match.

First grade in the NRL today seems even tougher than 2 or 3 years ago.
The injury tolls at clubs are staggering.

True, but I think good training can significantly reduce the risks. Yes injuries are often just bad luck, but not always IMO.
