  • Robbo is in DENIAL

Just saw the press conference. He must be on Valium. I noticed he was very controlled. No names mentioned this week....surprise, surprise. No bunker issues either. Fills me with confidence ............

Of course he didn't name players, unlike us there's repercussions to everything he says. No coach comes out and publicly shames their players after a loss.

I actually thought he did well not to bring up the bunker who screwed us on a couple of occasions, the team need to take ownership of that result & performance. No excuses.

lol. Robbo has this ability to make it look like he is in total control, "we know what to do, we just have to do it", and "the playing group is tight", assuring us that all is good. Well it ain't and its plain to see. Ass covering me thinks.

Robinson has squeezed the lemon dry. I'd move him on at the end of the season. He's had the luxury of 3 ridiculously star studded sides but unlike Ricky Stuart, he only got the club to one GF. This Roosters team is not 2-9 . When will our coach get any criticism from the media ?

The team looks as though it's coached by McNamara the coach with no form in the UK. Too many free loaders at the roosters

I actually remember Wayne Bennett after Easts beat St George in 2011 their 5th or so loss in a row or so , in the conference a reporter asked 'Where to from now?'
Bennett replied "Im somewhere between total desperation and I don't have a clue?
Don't be to hard on him, some players aren't aiming up its actually happening at a few clubs if you look around, coaches first blamed last thanked...

By not naming players I was refering to him saying Latrell had one of his poorer games last week. And Jake & Robbo both saying that 'only a few players were turning up each week'. Obviously they've been told to, or decided to pull their heads in.

Certainly is a tough gig. I'm not sure what assistants he has,,, but Paul Green had Furner and Cartwright last year. virtually 3 first grade coaches. That must help unbelievably.

as bad as it is right now i dont think sacking our coach will work..trent is a smart guy, if players drop balls repeatedly, kick poorly, tackle like wet clothes, and have a general lack of enthusiam i doubt its because trent told them to

When we won the 2013 GF I don't remember anyone on here writing, " Robbi can't coach. Anyone could have won us the premiership with this team". No one. Now it's flying everywhere. The oldest line about coaches in the game.

Now coz it's a shit year he could never coach. Despite all the crap that has happened this year it's all his fault.
Robbi didn't drop the ball every set. Didn't miss all 3 tackles on Reynolds. Didn't screw up the Bunker decision involving Morris and Fergo.

Suck it up and show loyalty to the guy that won us a premiership and 3 minor premierships. He at least deserves 2017.
