Skids in the clear with no one around him and the ball just pops out.

Kevin Stevens hitting the upright from right in front with Souths leading 16-15 with 30 seconds remaining at Redfern in 1976.

Im sure he did it numerous times but it was a game at shark park in 2005 that sticks out. The one where Michael Lett debuted and Ricky started him on the bench and put him on the field with 1 min 48 sec to go.

Another one with skids v warriors, certain try, already over the line, yet manages to lose the ball.

Russel Fairfax scoring a super match winner in the Amco cup final and then the same bloke missing the goal from almost in front to lose it....ah ...now who was it that threw that can of coke at his head after he missed it ?????? although the media reported it a beer can.
SKD would have about 20 clangers all to hard to separate but yeah that was a beauty in the semis.
Finch's Field goal that hit the corner post had me in stiches .......many Rooster fans were living in fear of his grandstand passes ...I remember a player at training said some times when Finch used to practice his kicks etc they would all head into the SFS grand stand to field it which used rub Finch up.

Actually since that moment he has risen up dramatically, still good for the occasional rocks/diamond tho

Against Souths at ANZ in the 2nd game of the year last year, just had to plant the ball down, decided to put it down one handed and loses it with no one near him, was very pivotal in the match result.

I believe that Braith Anasta playing at fullback was against the Penrith Panthers out at Penrith Park because I recall Michael "AV" Jennings score a lot of tries that night. I am not sure of the year we played them however, perhaps it was season 2007.
                    Was definitely 2009

The one that stands out is the obvious one....SKD last year in the Final.

But one that I remember which may have cost us a chance at a Premiership was in 1981 in the final against Newtown. It was tight early and we created numbers for Boustead to dive over in the corner. Unfortunately he dove low for the corner with the ball under one arm and the other outstretched and pretty much dove straight across the touch in goal line. Was a certain try gone begging from an Australian winger who should have done better. We went on to get beat 15-5 but that early try could have made a huge difference

He was actually on a 45metre angle Brain. Halfway between mid field and sideline.

Almost in front is a bit of a stretch 😃

It was one of those one's which you should kick but it's no gimme

Broke my 10yr old heart when he missed that goal, particularly after scoring such a terrific try....long ball from Artie to put him into a hole, chipping over the fullback and regathering. Was pretty spectacular
