ahahaha, yes in 2009 I think. Most weeks brought some classic clangers from that year including the 4 or 5 games we actually won lol.

That was what I was thinking and the whole league world was celebrating the fact a backrower running down a winger who had been ankle tapped and running half a metre from the sideline and Sattler always had the angle on him anyway as Byrne was struggling to get into the stride in the wet after being ankle tapped. The stupid sod should have stepped inside, FFS!! it was early in the tackle count and had a good chance of scoring shortly after as long as Finch and Walker stayed away from the ball.

Who was sin binned for swearing in that much? I know that it was not Jared Waerea Hargreaves. Perhaps it was Martin Kennedy?

Actually Guerra and Bailey have a lot of similarities.

They run the same, at the same slow pace and even look similar.

I'm with you on that one Trew....he was terrible.

On the Skinny Byrne thing.....was that as big a cock up as Mini dropping an easy catch from a kick in the same game in the lead up to the Priddis try which gave them the lead? Funny how we remember things in different ways

Another one, while not a Roosters NRL match, it showed signs of things to come was Tupou's cock up in the 9s opening match this year.

He has remained at that level ever since.

Jason Cayless should have taken the penalty.

That was a different incident. That was in the lead up to their opening try. The one I'm referring to happened in the 2nd half with the score at 6all. Crocker had very nearly scored on the last play the previous set and Penrith kicked long on the last, a regulation catch for Mini on about the 20m line and he dropped it cold handing them the lose and feed. Priddis squeezed between Fitzy and another defender and game them the go ahead try 4 tackles later

The Decision by Ricky Stuart to play Soward as fullback.

I havent read all the posts but i cannot believe that Chris Anderson's decision to revolutionise football and play with one marker has not rated a mention, An aging Hegarty destroyed us that night and we were walloped by Souffs
