He has age on his side and is a genuine 5/8. If we're 600k under the cap this year with plans to offload players next year then we need an experienced 5/8 who can create. He provides that. I don't think he's a world beater but he would balance our side nicely and take the pressure off latrell and Jake.

Ethan Lowe, Segeyaro and even a new prop are the key players for mine.

Ethan is a gamebreaker with plenty of upside and knows our club. This would allow Guerra to be moved on, with Maubs back to the bench where he is most effective.

Segs is an outstanding bench sub for Jake, and/or IMO has the skills required to play 5/8 alongside Pearce. If he were to play 5/8 it would allow us to have Watson/Matterson as a permament fixture on the bench.

As for a prop - i'm not sure. But i'm not convinced by Evans and I think we should be sending a rocket up his arse or letting him go. His defence is atrocious, his ball handling is abysmal and for a man of his size he never dents the oppositions defensive line. Question marks over desire and attitude too from what I can see on the field.

I would have a crack at Norman. I know there are those on here that don't rate him, but I think he would compliment Pearce nicely. Like Maloney, he's a ball runner more than a ball player. He's a left foot kick as well where as Pearce is right footed. There isn't too much else out there that I would throw big dollars at. If we could do a swap Gillett for Guerra that would be nice and I wouldn't mind having a crack at the Jennings brothers. They wouldn't cost heaps and have loads potential

I think one or two of the Jennings brothers would be a very good option at the price.

Absolutely. I imagine it can not be proven but what are the odd that the member of the OMC supplies the illegal substances. Seriously though this is far worse than what Pearce did. Norman would appear to have broken at least 2 laws and has embarrassed himself, his family, his club and the entire NRL. Considering Pearce was given 8 weeks for being a drunken idiot I would say that an proportionate response would be to rub Norman out of the game for the rest of the season.

Also regarding the OMC members, while they do a fair job with their public relations campaign lets not forget the scumbag violent criminals that they really are.

DUI is also a criminal offence with the potential of killing people and players only get a slap on the wrist for that what makes you think Norman will even get that.
