The corresponding fixture last year (also on a Monday night incidentally) was the game where our season turned around. We had a debutant in the centres (Linnett) as well as Carney playing at half for the first time. Massive omen's...got a feeling it's all going to start again.
I know!!! It's exciting and frightening

Francis Vaiotu is a big fella. 193 centimetres and 100 kilos. Good luck to him.

Francis Vaiotu played for the Jets yesterday so I highly doubt he would be backing up for the Roosters on Monday night, if Perrett is out Blair will be his replacement.

that's interesting Horry, because on the Jets website in their match report it says he played.

what is it with Smith and backrowers on the wing, Vaiotu is another former backrower now playing out wide

our backline this week has BJ,Mataka,Vaiotu all backrowers

on a positive note its great to see Maliota return for Newtown this week with Masoe/Conn/Cherro/Maubs gone for the season and Kennedy/Tasi on the extended injury list we are looking very small up front, if Maliota can get some match fitness behind him he could be a good bench player for us later in the season.

another youngster that could come into contention is Kane Evans he is a beast, still very raw but very strong hitups with a great offload, just needs to work on his lateral movement in defence.

All of this suggests that our recruitment policy over the past couple of years has been concentrated on youth and development.

Sounds like there are plenty of talented youngsters coming through. Just need one or two established first graders to complete the squad.

I saw our discarded ex front rower Sisa Waqa playing wing for the storm last week, he was fantastic. Hats off to the Storm for turning this slow obese monster into a fast, rangey barnstormer. Why could'nt we see what Belamy saw.

                          your getting 2 players confused

                          Stanley Waqa was the forward

                          Sisa Waqa is the winger

Word is under 20's is cancelled because the Roosters side cant get a flight down and the 1st grade game is under threat as no refs are down there for same reason.
