The best play of the game was Ashley Klein not awarding a penalty to the Tigers dummy half when he deliberately threw the ball into our defender near the play the ball. So many Refs would have got sucked in and blown that but he showed common sense. He obviously didn't learn it from the idiot Tony Archer.

Harsh, he was confronted with 2 attackers with no winger outside him and tried to shut it down but couldn't cut the pass off. In relation to the going into touch, he was on a hiding to nothing. Guerra backed him into the sideline and said 'here, do your best!' Even if he tried to come back infield I doubt he could have stayed in the field of play

I'll disagree on that. The first play Copley couldn't even get back into camera shot of the tigers centre or winger and then was nowhere in the chase to the tryline. Even Hastings was back there chasing. And on the second one he certainly has the opportunity to come back inside but went the narrow corridor despite the wet and despite his lack of pace.

But how good was Watson. Icing on the cake seeing just how happy he was after his first NRL try. Was a bit surprised to see him filling in for Latrell, thought Fergo would've been like nah i'm playing fb get lost Connor, but Watson did it justice. He was literally everywhere. Really impressed with Matterson too. Need to keep him in the halves, only 5/8 we got. praying we can back up for next week

Yep, that was terrible, luckily it was a no try, apart from that terrible tackle attempt though I thought Toups was pretty solid.

Toups best game this year, and probably for some time. Success breeds success and hopefully he will gain confidence from this.

interesting win - no Pearce TKO impressive with JWH as too new boys Matterson and Watson.
