They've found a way to play well without Slater.

I like J Bromwich and Proctor. Smith sh*ts me. Harris is also handy.

Can't agree. I'd rather our full strength pack. JWH destroyed Bromwich last year, shut him down and you're always a chance.

We will get hammered in the penalties and they will wrestle us all night long in the play the ball with little or no consequence as is always the way when we play Melbourne.

Having said that the way to beat them is to play before the line and try and reduce their time to get numbers in the tackle. If they can't get their usuall 3 seconds per rest each tackle they can be beaten

So the two repeat sets he earned us plus a number of other long kicks which saw Wests working off their own tryline didn't impress you at all? What about his vision to skip out of dummy half and throw a long ball to Copley in the lead up to Tupou's try? Friend was excellent yesterday.

Didn't notice them to be honest but if you say so then fine he's had one good game out of 13 then. He's not exactly Mr Consistency, Guerra also had a better game but I won't hold my breath until the next one either..
