Cummins killed us in that semi against the Storm. It had by far the fewest number of play the balls of all the semis that weekend and yet we couldn't get a penalty.

I actually would like him to get a career-ending injury - though having said that his chum would immediately put him in the bunker.

You need to be a bit more subtle JT. I'd like to see him found with animal porn on his phone/laptop/PC, him farking a chicken would be fitting a **** like him.

Yeah I dunno what the right tactic is but I agree. While the Storm are better this season and can win on merits, they have the power to turn the game into a farce. If they keep milking BS penalties and Cummins is talking to Smith/Gronk like old pub mates (while ignoring Friend) then more than anything it won't be worth watching.

For the sake of the game I hope the refs police grubby tactics the way they should, have the spine to call out Smith/Gronk (they play for Australia so SHOULD KNOW BETTER!!! Go in with that attitude rather than being like 'I don't dare challenge them because they play for Australia.')

I don't mind losing a fair game, but we need a tactic to make sure this game isn't a ref-dominated farce where Smith/Gronk get one up on us for free just by lying down and asking for penalties. We already know that if you are forced to play the ball on Smith's ugly bum chin then YOU will get penalised!! If you throw a pass to Smith while he's lying around trying to spoil the ball then it'll be play-on rather than offside. We've gotta be smarter BUT we also have to make sure of the simple stuff!! Don't drop the ball or miss tackles because they are the 2 things you can control. Focus on them, get them right and ignore the refs because arguing with them is only gonna push them further offside.

Spirit of 66 summed it up pretty good earlier.
So many variables to the "rules" of the game these days, so the game managers can be a lot more subtle than just blowing the pea outta the whistle.
Mind you, I'm sure there was a game earlier this season where we got three penalties in the last 30 seconds. How come that never happens when it's game on?
