My only hope here is that Robbo isn't getting a reputation for promising overseas players a chance in the NRL, delivering them from Mascot to Wyong and then releasing them after a season (where they've been paid minimum wage.)

TBH no matter how bad he may or may not be, I think that Burgess deserved a chance to prove himself at NRL level. Training with Rip Taylor and playing park footy for Wyong isn't what he came over for.

Yeah I don't imagine he'd be doing a whole lot of training with Rip. He'd be with the fg squad all week then shoot up to Wyong for the games
