  • Forget Ben Cummins - Maxwell is a cheat.

That was absolutely ridiculous. Lopsided count, he insta penalises us and we can't buy a penalty.

    I'm bloody fuming.

    He's clearly a cheat.

Behind Cummins he's always been the worst.

    That was disgraceful.

It's the penalties that we don't get. He only knows how to blow the whistle one way.

It's getting hard to watch. My father in law had always banged on about conspiracy theories with the NRL on who wins. I didn't believe him. But it's becoming apparent to me niw, he is right.

It'll be a cold day in hell when the chooks are allowed near the top again.

Even the last 3 years and such, we had to drag the nrl kicking and screaming to that premiership.

The way we friggin play we ask to be penalised.
Fark this ad lib footy chasing leads. Then giving away penalties. 3 penalties before i could blink. Lucky no one was binned.

I wouldn't single us out in asking for it, same old story, we give away penalties, don't receive them.

The referee had no impact on the result our team was not good enough.

The referees seem to think they are in some new concept reality TV show, where they are rated according to crowd reaction and home ground popular decisions. Bizarrely they may actually be right lol.

                      I don't agree at all.

Scored two tries to one. They were marched up the field time and time again and we had to earn our metres. The trend was set in the opening minute, we had a set where they were lying all over us, kick long and on the first tackle we make they instantly penalise us (for nothing).

In the last two sets alone we shoud've had 3 or 4 penalties... We conceded them for less.

And it's the way we play that determines we don't get penalties for the same things the opposition get them for?

Yes the refereeing was definitely beyond any doubt biased to kill our season. But major errors let us down again as usual.

Put simply, the refs hate us. It's quite evident by the 50/50 calls we NEVER get, the short & inappropriate manner in which they retort to our on-field capt for e.g. tonight how Maxwell replied to Jake in comparison to Hoffman.

Rightly so, us fans, club officials & even some impartial journos have banged on about the untoward bias against us for a few years now. Sadly, the more we speak up the more the refs collectively dig their heels in.

Our mistakes aside, which is not helping our cause, our ability to dominate in tackles is taken away from refs. Last night they were consistently being called to get off the player with the ball even though the tackle wasn't finished.
Melbourne last week would hold us up in tackles, then roll us on to the ground and waste a few more seconds.
It's only a matter of seconds but it helps with momentum and this is something we cannot get to happen in any of our games this year.
