  • Good game plan OR not

What did you guys think of our game plan yesterday?

    I found it strange.

Slowing the game down is one thing. Intentionally giving away penalties is another.

SKD amongst others were lucky not to go to the bin.

We defended brilliantly on our line but we were always destined to leak a few.

Very risky I thought. Also very gutsy.

a couple of crucial errors avoided and we pull through a bit of bad luck etc you know the story. It was good to see the original Bondi Wall come back ...now only if they can man up and kick on instead of sulking and getting whipped in the next game .

We would have won with a bit of luck so I didn't mind it.

Considering we were playing an in-form dangerous attacking side, we nearly got there.

Leak a few? We conceded only one try against a team that had 58% possession and a 10-3 penalty count.

The boys put in and showed heart. Thats all I ask for them currently. If they can walk away from a loss with their heads held high then Ill accept it.

Funny what happens to their attitude when Guerra isn't around.

At least they had a go and showed pride in the jersey.

                  Let's be honest here..

The Warriors were rubbish and if they play like that they will not be playing finals football either...

There are 8 teams better than the Warriors and 14 teams better than us...

Warriors were abysmal yesterday. Poor discipline cost us the match. They ran harder than we tackled which caused us to lose the battle of the ruck. How many times to Jake friend get caught laying all over the place slowing down the ruck because he couldn't get to marker before the play the ball? I thought we could have been penalised more.

Thats alright though. We've had a single game this season where Pearce/Boyd/JWH/Cordner were on the field and guess what, we won 38-0. Its been a tough year, every that could go wrong has gone wrong and I reemphasise - thats ok. Its a transition year, if its going to happen at any point I'm glad its now.

You are right, i forgot that at full strength we demolished Newcastle. Imagine if we didn't get our players back for that match, we would be last right now.
