I just finished watching the game over again to see the finer details of how things went down. I am very disappointed to see how Daniel Tupou responded to Latrell clearly wanting help for the hit up from the kick return. Tupou is a lot more experienced and has been a regular for us the past few seasons ( not too mention a nsw rep) and to see him just stand there and let a clearly injured 19 year old take the return is piss poor. Play this down all you want but a basic fundamental of teamwork is being there for your mate and helping your mate out. Not stand there and ignore the cry for help. Teamwork should be a top priority among the team and if I was robbo I would drop tupou for this dog act. Poor form by a rep player.
Also - Tupou was looking at him, and did nothing. If he didn't know what Latrell meant he must be the dumbest player to ever run out on a footy pitch. He was visibly hobbling.

For me personally , that doesn't go down with me very well. In my workplace I lead a team of people and I value the very principles of teamwork. Mitchell was clearly suggesting to Tupou to drop under him so he can take the run. Maybe I am overthinking this specific play, I just don't like the sight of a player specifically wearing and representing our club ignore Another injured player and let him take the hit while he was suffering pretty badly. That doesn't give the best of indications about our culture doesn't it.
