  • SO HOW LONG DOES TEFLON TRENT HAVE???

I know I will get torn down for this insolent post as I haven't got 2.469 posts on this site which apparently you need to have credibility but I will ask anyway - How long does Teflon Trent get without any questions being asked?? I mean we just keep losing so is he the only coach in history that is immune to results??

I think a premiership and 3 minors gives him a little breathing room but if next year doesn't improve then I can see Politis wielding the axe

End of next season I would say, if next year goes the same as this year i think he'll be pushed.

He signed a two year extension just a few weeks ago. However, Uncle Nick won't accept mediocrity. Robinson will not see out his contract.

Toots I agree. I actually have always felt unless he can convert a reasonable % for the rest of this year the pressure would be on.

Lack of credibility is when you come back after being banned and don't put your hand up as to who you are.

Didn't Buzz just call you a disgracefully disloyal Roosters fan? Says it all coming from him O.

In the off season we must get him an NRL side! A few more smart purchases are still needed for us to be competitive next year

And who have they got? A 33 year old fullback and a halfback who makes Pearce look good.

                      Well done recruitment officers.

If we don't win another game all season, which is truly on the cards, then in all seriousness he could be gone pretty soon. If we have a year even half as bad as this next season he should get the sack.

Good thing we extended his contract early for another 2 years till the end of 2019. The club will be happy paying all that money out I'm sure

                            It's tough being a coach.

                            Loved when winning.

                            Despised when not.

Even Brian Smith was popular in 2010.

Not so popular the following 2 seasons.

Sick and tired of telling people Robinson has not evolved as a coach, we had 3 good years playing a certain style , as soon as we lost RTs , Jimmy jenko he like the team had to reinvent himself he has failed miserably, still too many one out hit ups and bombs to finish sets, our centres and wingers are basically redundant till last tackle, our red zone attack is worst in comp props and second rowers taking 4 of the 6 plays is brain dead, even Ennis commented on fox you know what the roosters are going to do every set so predictable. He has failed to add any discipline whatsoever to our dumb players who constantly do the same dumb things over and over which is diff between winning and losing the close games, this year is the perfect example, the comment that made the alarm bells ring for me is when he said I'm actually enjoying this when we started losing , this is what coaching is about and why I started doing it, these words made me realise he maybe isn't all that
