Also his rotation with the new interchange rules is laughable.

My one concern is when we won the first premiership under Robbo in 2013, he came out and said he had ideas how to improve our attack. (Admittedly a hard task after Sonny tore it up in '13) but we went backwards in my opinion. Even though we won 3 minor premierships, we could look very clunky in attack and that was surprising when you consider we had Jennings and Fergo in the centres last year who were strangely starved of possession a lot of the time. Throw in a really bad error rate which has not got any better and you have to wonder how much influence Green and the other assistants had and how much we might miss them. I am grateful to Robbo for '13. It was without doubt one of the best years of my life supporting such a great time with that 'bondi wall' spirit. But we can't dine out on that for the next 2-3 years and make excuses. Improvements need to be made all round and those who don't have the desire anymore need to be shipped out.

Anyone who's read posts on this forum would be surprised to hear him described as Teflon Trent. In the last week alone there have been half a dozen different threads attacking his coaching.

Of course if we repeat this year's performance with a full roster next year he'll be gone.

Needs to finish off this year as well as possible, take a few weeks off, talk to a wise man on top of a mountain somewhere, do a basket-weaving course, maybe smoke a quiet joint, have a good look at himself, think about why he wants to be a coach, confirm that it's because he loves rugby league, loves the roosters and loves footballers and wants to help them do well

I'm not saying Robbo does......but a lot do.
Incidentally, I heard Michael Maguire talk at the press conference after last weeks game....wow that guy has a wonderful poker face.....quite a speaker, I was impressed. But he loves himself to death

And here we go with the moronic sack the coach threads.

Robbo is an elite coach, amongst the best 3 or 4 in the game. And by far the youngest of the elite group. The roosters should be looking to hang on to him for a very long time not move him on as soon as he has an unsuccessful season.

Those capable of more than shallow knee jerk thinking will be able to see that he has actually done very well to keep the side competitive this year under very challenging circumstances.

If the roosters let him go he will just go and be successful somewhere else. Dumb thinking.

Can't disagree with that. Gibson and Bennett had a healthy self-regard...

                    Competitive? We've won 3 games!

Sack the bloke who decided to go with that dirty little grommit over Maloney.

Trent is worth sticking to in my opinion. the team is losing so many games this year for very obvious and very well publicised reasons. Injuries to key players and Pearce's dumb off field behaviour being the largest impact. Throw into that, the loss of key players.....the new combinations just haven't been able to get the job done against many teams that are only marginally more cohesive than us......not to mention all the close calls from refs and bunker that we cannot ever get to go our way.

We need more quality assistant coaches I reckon. Also it doesn't help that our 5/8th cant run at all this season. The opposition can set their defence since they know Hastings wont run.

Yes dumbo, competitive. Quite obviously. The story of the season has been narrow defeats due to inexperienced playmakers. Not sure what you've been watching.

Good thing we extended his contract early for another 2 years till the end of 2019. The club will be happy paying all that money out I'm sure
This is perhaps the most clueless post I have ever seen in the history of the Internet.

If Robinson was to be sacked who would you replace him with all you geniuses? They would without doubt have to settle for somebody inferior and be worse off.

                              Clueless clowns.

Gee Max you get a bit upset when people don't agree with you. So its your way or the highway is it??

How many coaches can get to round 17 with 3 wins and not have questions asked? If someone isn't asking then they ain't doing their job. My thread was he has been untouchable for 3 seasons and now the wheels have fallen off. Look at Maguire - only 2 seasons since he won a comp and questions being asked there as well.

You can take your "lets be blindly loyal supporters and attack anyone who questions the club" attitude if you choose but those of us with an IQ above the level required to remember to take one breath after another are probably going to look at this season particularly the bit where we appear to be going backwards and not forward and ask some questions......
