Nah I think Trent has at least next season to show he can again take our group in the right direction.

This season has been a disaster on and off the field and Trent has made mistakes and should learn from them and our Roster is much weaker. You only had to look at our spine at the start of the season compared to last year and Friend has suffered from not starting with Pearce, Maloney and Shek this year.

Also gotta lol at those toothless souffs trolls. Keep getting on here dudes, so Mr Walker can keep bitch slapping your f*nnies, you pair of gormless intellectual vacuums lol!

If we had our full squad available every week, much like the Sharks, Storm and Cowboys have had this season, then it would be fair to say we should be in the top 8.

However Robbo hasn't had the full compliment available to him each week. Our halfback and highest paid asset has played less than 1/3 of the season. When you have a rookie 1 and 6 you need your 7 to take control each week. However Robbo has had to employ makeshift halves for the bulk of the season. Furthermore, our on field leaders in JWH, Skd and Cordner have all missed numerous games.

We are 3/15 and for a club like ours that isn't good enough. However to say Robbo is in trouble is ludicrous. No coach in the game would have led our side into the top 8 this season, considering the calibre of player we have had on the sidelines. The fact we have lost 8 games by four points or less is, in my opinion, testament to the development of our young squad which is largely down to Robbo's management.

We are the Roosters and will without doubt return to the top of the pile soon. The end of this season may well be painful however the future is bright. As fans we should support Robbo and the team and look forward to next season and beyond.

If we get to mid 2017 playing footy anything like we are playing now, I would have to say that Robbo will be getting the arse.

I hope we get some decent coaching assistants for Trent, one or 2 further signings - preferably impact forwards used on interchange. A top centre would be a dream come true.

As long as Robbo has the tools and decent cattle then I think he will be held to account if we are not at least top 8. But it's gonna be a long road back, to get some fluency in attack, some coordination in defence, and the sbilty to grind wins by 2 or 4.

How is Trent 'teflon'? Teflon is a non-stick coating... Trent's had 1 bad season (partly due to poor planning on behalf of the club) and he's definitely been under the pump this year.

Who says he's teflon? An old manager I had was called 'teflon' because he was a shonky f*ck who hooked up all his mates, so always had a group of yes men when people questioned why all 20 new staff in our area were family/friends of current staff.

Robbo? Is just doing his job. After 3 minor premierships it's farcical to think that you'd flick a guy mid-way through the season. If we have an equally shyte season next year then clearly there will be questions about whether it's worth extending his contract.

But 'teflon'? I think everything has stuck to him, and he's been 100% accountable (including losses during the preliminary finals).

While 'rebuilding' can be used as a euphemism for 'we have NFI', this season has legitimately been a rebuilding year. I think any legitimate fan will respect the fact that we've blooded a lot of up and coming stars this year, and there have been enough signs positive to suggest that we will be far more competitive next year. If not, then I'm pretty sure that Robbo will be willing to step aside.

But after one bad season? Pffft this 'teflon' tag is a farce.

At the least Robbo has earned his one bad season. I doubt that two will be tolerated

We lost a couple games because of bad goal kicking, 4 that the NRL admitted the bunker got wrong, 6 of those games Pearce didn't play.

On top of Maloney, RTS and Jennings, we had Pearce, JWH, Cordner and SKD missing for extended periods. How many games have each played this year?

Some say Robbo should be dropping players. And replace with who? If you bother checking he did. We had 10 debutants (probably a record) plus Smith who only had one NRL game. Who else is there that has proven to be of NRL standard? But let's drop Fergo, Guerra, Friend, Toups, Copley, Evans. Did I miss anyone? Our team would look unbeatable. Plus team harmony would be at an all time high. There were plenty who also didn't want Pearce to come back only to hide under their rock since he has been back.

The bulk of our year we had the 1,6 and 7 who are eligible to play NYC.

Our defence for the previous 3 years has arguably been the best. A huge part of this is because our fullbacks have been Mini and RTS who play a big part in organising the defence particular on our goal line.
This year we tried Fergo at fullback who failed. RTS had 2 years on the wing to learn from one of the best. We throw in an 18 year old with a few games experience in NYC and a pre-season. He is also trying to learn how to position himself as exposed by the Eels. But let's blame him for some of our losses.

We lack depth this year. Injuries and suspension to major players and losing three quality players has hurt us. We had our window and the cap has shut it on us. It is obvious that we are rebuilding and we have a super coach to get us back to the top. The team won't resemble anything like what we currently have in 2018.

How may teams would love our record to have been in 6 grand finals and winning two this century? Luckily Uncle Nick has more brains than some in here and we are never down for long. Robbo won't be sacked this year or next. Get used to it.

And Mr O has the nerve to get back on here crying that people don't give him any credibility and calling others fools who don't agree with him. Stick to your twitter rants. You have one or two fans there. You are the Roosters version of Adrian.
Spot on, in more ways than one.

                Chook.
