To our defense? In 2013 it was impregnable and now it's a joke. It's obvious Robinson wasn't responsible for our d in 2013, was it Green? If so that would explain it, I was a huge fan of Robinson but he's being found out big time.

Time to get Geoff Toovey on board?

I hardly think Toovey is the answer.

In 2013 I was ridiculed for suggesting our turnaround in defence had more to do with our change of roster than change of coach. How dare I take credit away from our supercoach! Along similar lines I blame roster and positional changes for our defensive woes.

Fergo should not be allowed to defend in the centres ever again. It is as though we have paid massive overs for him and trying to justify his expense by persisting with him in the centres.

Copley is too slow to turn and chase. Jennings would have been a good chance of stopping both of those Manu tries. So would have Brendan Elliot for that matter.

Hastings will go, and Mitchell improving so I won't be too harsh on them.

Coaching team and roster changes would be the first two reasons.

Isn't defence all about a team's attitude to the task? If true, the 2016 Roosters' attitude leaves much to be desired.

No sense of urgency. We used to do everything at 100 km/hr. Check out some 2013 video. Now we just go through the motions. Unless of course we are chasing down a.lead, like always. Then we get the high risk low percentage football which never comes off.
